Build the ecosystem with us

Climate narratives need stronger systems to thrive.

News organisations lack the capacity. Independent voices lack the funding. The vacuum is being filled by lobbying, misinformation and manipulation.

Syli exists to close that gap, not by parachuting in resources, but by building a resilient infrastructure. We work with funders, media organisations, NGOs, businesses, and strategic partners to build the infrastructure that makes trusted climate media more resilient, innovative and sustainable. Whether you're looking to strengthen your news organisation, support the ecosystem or co-create new solutions, we'd love to talk.

Communities of practice, built to last. Crafted climate networks built for collaboration across 45 countries. Rooted in a shared approach: exchanges, festivals, fellowships and embedded residencies that turn climate narratives into an integrated beat with permanence and impact. Embedding impact inside the news organisation. Climate journalism only matters if it moves people. We codify what works and put that knowledge inside news organisations through 12-month fellowships. Impact Strategists are embedded in news organisations, building the structures that let editorial output translate into real-world action. The infrastructure for permanent climate coverage. Distributed climate desks, shared infrastructure, joint-reporting capacity. The operational backbone to transform one-off climate coverage into systemic change, bringing climate content to every editorial desk. The premise: every editorial desk should be a climate desk. A working language for what actually lands. Generate data intelligence that helps organisations understand emerging trends and opportunities across the climate communications ecosystem. These insights are translated into research, programmes and practical action, creating a continuous cycle of learning and improvement. Beyond the grant cycle. We accelerate climate news MVPs through to commercial product, and mobilise local investors into ecosystem-sustaining business models, so the work outlives any single funder. The 7 products currently in-market are the proof of concept.
