Emma Ball
PROJECT AND PARTNER MANAGER - CLIMATEXCHANGE
Emma is passionate about developing projects and partnerships, with over 7 years of experience in academic publishing and the education and not-for-profit sectors.
Before joining climateXchange, Emma led the development and commissioning of digital archive projects for academic and higher education teaching and research in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Working with global partners, Emma developed thematic resources spanning hundreds of years and covering subjects from histories of science and medicine, consumer culture, and theatre to trade, travel and international relations.
After a career break solo backpacking in Europe and Southeast Asia, Emma most recently managed projects with an education charity to support internal change, governance and communications, and led the mobilisation of a portfolio of pilot programmes to test new and innovative ways to deliver teacher professional development, with the goal of making impact and closing the disadvantage gap of pupils in the classroom.
She has an MA in History from Goldsmiths, University of London.
